Decades of consulting experience prepared me to provide personalized, empathic service at the highest level of professionalism. My personal experience with grief drives my passion for serving people at their most vulnerable.

ORIGINAL SCULPTURE

Once we agree to work together, the heart of our collaboration is in-depth conversation about your loved one. Based on the stories and images you share, we will co-design the work to capture the essence of your beloved.

FINE CRAFTSMANSHIP

I will carefully interpret and hand sculpt a one-of-a-kind portrait to the best of my ability culminating in your approval of the model. I will then cast and hand finish the final sculpture in your choice of material, allowing for reproductions to share with loved ones separated by distance.

MINDFUL MATERIALS

I curate materials and finishes to ensure beautiful results while caring for you and our planet. Humans have been making sacred objects from clay and natural minerals since time immemorial, reminding us of our connection to the natural world.

People Portrait

Custom portrait of your beloved person.

In today’s fast-paced life, we often fall short of supporting people in their grief. I am here to help you cope by honoring your loved one. I will consult with you to choose era or life stage, pose, and expression using images you provide as references.

SIZE: You can choose from a range of sizes. For a lifelike presence, or if you want the sculpture to contain your loved one’s ashes, you may prefer a life size bust. This would include the head, neck, upper chest, shoulders, and longer hair if applicable. Typical dimensions are approximately 14” tall, 13” wide, and 10” deep.

If space is an issue, you may prefer a smaller sculpture at 2/3 or 3/4 scale and choose to only include the head and neck. These smaller works are suitable for display on bookshelves, mantles, home altars, side tables, or where you might keep an 8 x 10 photograph. Typical dimensions are 9” tall, 6” deep, 6” wide.

Animal Portrait

Custom portrait of your beloved animal.

Animals are pure beings worthy of grieving. Our bonds with our companion animals are sacred and deserve to be honored. I will consult with you to choose era or life stage, pose, and expression using images you provide as references.

SIZING: You can choose from a range of sizes. For a lifelike presence, you may prefer a life size portrait. Because body language is so important to how they communicate with us, I recommend animal sculptures include the whole body and not just the head. Because sizes vary so much between breeds and species, life size may be impractical for your space.

If so, you may prefer a tabletop scale, suitable for display on bookshelves, mantles, home altars, side tables, or where you might keep an 8 x 10 photograph. Dimensions will vary based on species, breed, or weight.
